Piano students attending SIPMF 2017 will have the opportunity to study with some of the world’s most highly regarded piano teachers: The Curtis Institute and Juilliard School’s Professor Robert McDonald, and Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music’s Professor John Perry. Professors McDonald and Perry will lead students through ten days of intensive instruction, covering broad themes of musicality and performance, as well as providing specific oversight into each student’s technique, comprehension and repertoire.
Each student will perform at four public masterclasses. Private lessons will also be available.
Applications for the piano students’ section of the 2017 Masterclass Festival are now closed.
Applications for composition students, and tickets for audience members and the Kawai Recital Series will remain open until 30th November or until sold out.
